Project L39

Phase One
Getting started. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." Phase one begins with the purchase and construction of a 1/4 scale L39 Jet memorial (see concept image below). This model will travel the country to special functions, corporations and other high profile events for visitors to see in person. These displays will leased out, raising funds which will enable phase 2 of the mission.
Phase Two
Phase two begins with the creation of a Jet escrow. When we reach $3 million dollars in initial donations, four L39 Jets will be purchased or leased and retrofitted. Donations to the foundation will support ongoing program development and operational costs. These costs include things like pilot travel, maintenance crews, uniforms, hangar rental space, insurance and fuel, etc.
Continued support for the project will address ongoing maintenance through donations and rentals, paid from the interest accrued, in perpetuity. An operations escrow will be formed to generate the interest needed to support the mission.
Phase Four
The last phase will be to create a second foundation derived from continued donations and fees from jet memorial rentals and shop items sold. The annual interest accrued from this escrow will then be dispersed to various veteran PTSD research and treatment organizations, as determined by the Mission Healing Soldiers board members. Selected organizations will have demonstrated their effectiveness in the treatment for PTSD.
